UK's Top 5 iOS Air Travel Apps in Q4 2023: A Performance Snapshot

In the final quarter of 2023, the UK's iOS platform saw varied engagement across its top five air travel applications. As reported by Sensor Tower, these apps have demonstrated unique download and active user trends.

The easyJet: Travel App experienced a decrease in downloads from 33K in the last week of September to 23K by the end of December, with a slight increase in weekly active users from 174K to 187K in the same period.

For Ryanair, downloads dipped from 30K to 22K, while weekly active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at 134K, down from a high of 146K in early October.

British Airways saw its downloads peak at 19K in mid-November, followed by a slight decline to 18K by year's end. Active users grew modestly from 109K to 123K throughout the quarter.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker was the only app among the top five to generate revenue, peaking at $49K in late September and then settling around $27K by the end of December. Downloads for Flightradar24 had a notable surge from 12K to 21K in mid-December, while weekly active users saw a significant rise from 105K to 141K during the last weeks of the quarter.

Lastly, Wizz Air - Book Flights showed a steady download figure hovering around 10K, with a small rise in active users from 68K to 67K by the close of Q4.
